Rather than traditional third-party tracking HTTP cookies, Seekr Daily primarily utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage and SessionStorage. These modern browser technologies allow the game to store data locally on your device with low latency, no network transmission overhead, and high security.
2. Granular Storage Categories
These items are technically indispensable for providing the game you explicitly requested. They preserve your letter guesses on the domain board, calculate strikes, determine whether today's puzzle was cracked or lost, prevent duplicate submissions, and maintain your win streak across browser sessions.
Used solely to collect aggregated, non-identifying telemetry regarding web performance (Core Web Vitals, asset load speeds), game duration timings, and mascot clue click rates to optimize user experience and diagnose glitches.
Operates when you log in to Seekr Club via Google Sign-In or save a custom hunter nickname. Firebase Authentication uses local storage/IndexedDB to manage secure cryptographic authentication tokens so you stay signed in across devices.

Note: Clearing your browser's site data will delete your local gameplay streaks unless synced to a Seekr Club cloud account.
